METHODOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENT OF LABOR MARKET STATISTICS IN UZBEKISTAN BASED ON INTERNATIONAL STATISTICAL STANDARDS

This article examines the methodological improvement of labor market statistics in the Republic
of Uzbekistan based on international statistical standards. Particular attention is given to the statistical
methodologies, labor market indicators, and data quality standards recommended by the International Labour
Organization (ILO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and
Development (OECD), and the United Nations (UN). The study proposes scientific and practical recommendations
for harmonizing Uzbekistan’s labor market statistical methodology with international standards, improving the
accuracy, reliability, and international comparability of labor market indicators, and enhancing the quality of
official statistical information
