Abstract

The rapid expansion of e-commerce platforms has fundamentally transformed the global
business environment and digital economy. Along with increasing online transactions, the financial performance
of e-commerce platforms has become a key indicator of their competitiveness, sustainability, and long-term
growth. This study examines the global trends shaping the financial performance of e-commerce platforms
by analyzing major financial indicators, including revenue growth, profitability, operating efficiency, liquidity,
investment activity, and market capitalization. The research also explores the impact of digital transformation,
artificial intelligence, fintech integration, cross-border e-commerce, and changing consumer behavior on
financial performance. Using comparative analysis and a review of international practices, the paper identifies
the main factors driving financial development in leading global e-commerce companies. The findings indicate
that technological innovation, effective financial management, platform ecosystem development, and datadriven
decision-making significantly enhance financial performance and competitive advantage. The study
provides practical insights for researchers, policymakers, and business practitioners seeking to improve
financial management strategies in the rapidly evolving e-commerce sector
