Abstract

Interregional economic cooperation plays a vital role in promoting balanced regional development
and strengthening economic integration. This study assesses the current state of economic cooperation
in the Namangan region and examines international practices to identify effective approaches applicable
to Uzbekistan. The research is based on comparative analysis, official statistical data and survey results
collected from businesses and public institutions. The findings reveal that while trade and transport linkages
are relatively developed, institutional coordination, industrial cooperation and joint investment activities remain
limited. International experience demonstrates that effective legal frameworks, coordinated governance and
integrated infrastructure are essential for strengthening regional cooperation. The study proposes practical
policy recommendations to enhance sustainable interregional economic cooperation and improve regional
competitiveness in Uzbekistan.
