DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO INSURING FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY RISKS

This article examines the economic substance of using digital technologies and innovative approaches in the insurance of foreign economic activity risks, their impact on insurance efficiency, and the mechanisms of their practical application. The possibilities of applying Big Data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, the Internet of Things, API integration, and smart-contract technologies to identify, assess, and insure commercial, credit, currency, transport-logistics, political, and counterparty risks inherent in foreign trade operations are systematized. Also, it is argued that the introduction of digital technologies can reduce information asymmetry in insurance companies, improve rapid risk segmentation, enable differentiated insurance pricing, and accelerate the identification and settlement of insured events.Keywords
