РОЛЬ СКРИПТОВЫХ ЯЗЫКОВ ПРОГРАММИРОВАНИЯ В СОВРЕМЕННОЙ РАЗРАБОТКЕ ПРОГРАММНОГО ОБЕСПЕЧЕНИЯ

Abstract

The role of scripting programming languages in modern software development has been growing significantly
in the context of the rapid advancement of information technologies. The paper analyzes the main characteristics of
scripting languages, their advantages and functional capabilities, as well as their areas of practical application. Particular
attention is paid to Python, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, and Bash as widely used tools for automation, web development,
data analysis, and system administration. The study also examines the increasing popularity of scripting languages in
the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and DevOps infrastructure. Comparative characteristics of different
programming languages, a table of their functional capabilities, and a scheme illustrating the use of scripting languages
throughout the software development life cycle are presented. The findings indicate that scripting languages are becoming
an integral part of the modern IT industry due to their high development speed, cross-platform compatibility, and broad
integration capabilities.
