Abstract

This study examines the main economic factors affecting agricultural production on farms and their influence on production volume, crop yields, production costs, profitability, and the efficient use of resources. Particular attention is given to land resources, material and technical inputs, financial capacity, credit availability, investment, labour productivity, product prices, market demand, and natural and climatic conditions. The study emphasises the importance of effective resource allocation, financial planning, technological modernisation, and market-oriented production management in improving farm performance. It also considers statistical approaches to evaluating the relationships between production outcomes and their determining factors, including comparative analysis, correlation and regression analysis, panel data models, and factor decomposition methods. The findings highlight the need to assess economic efficiency by considering both physical production indicators and financial results while accounting for price changes, regional differences, farm specialisation, and external risks.
