This article describes the development of an information system based on the simplex algorithm to ensure efficient resource utilisation in the fishing sector. The system enables the optimal allocation of limited resources in fish production. The algorithm was implemented in the Python programming language and tested on real data using the scipy.optimize.linprog function. The results demonstrated that the system is effective in promoting efficient resource utilisation and improving economic efficiency. Keywords
