The main advantage of tourism development and its practical outcomes are reflected in increasing incomes
and creating new jobs, while also having a strong impact on other areas of the socio-economic life of countries around
the world. In this regard, the development of investments in the tourism sector is of great importance. Today, scientific
research and studies aimed at developing and improving this sector are being actively conducted. In the article, the
author scientifically highlights the current state of attracting investments in the development of tourism in the regions of
Uzbekistan and the methodology of economic efficiency indicators based on scientific evidence.
